Hunan Xinhua Xinxing Electronic Ceramic Co., Ltd is located in Xinhua, an ancient city of central Hunan, which has a long history, outstanding people and beautiful sceneries. The company, established in 1997, a high-tech enterprise, is now one of the top 500 private enterprises in Hunan Province. As secretariat of National Structural Ceramics Standardization Technical Committee, the company has organized and participated in standardization revisions of structural ceramics several times over the past years. The company covers a total area of 120,000 square meters, with total fixed assets of over 100 million yuan, and now has more than 800 employees.

September 22, 1997, for most people, was with nothing special. It was as usual as the other 364 days of the year which was not worthy of special memory, but for Comrade Cao Peifu, this day was of an unusual significance. Due to the restructuring of state-owned enterprises, many comrades, such as Mr. Cao Peifu, were laid off. During this difficult period, Mr. Cao Peifu was not overwhelmed by difficulties. He chose to cooperate with 49 like-minded pioneers to establish Xinhua County Xinxing Electronic Ceramics Co., Ltd. in Hunan Province.

At the beginning of the company's establishment, the office was registered in Meishu Village, Xinhua County with main business of producing and operating ceramic gas discharge tubes. From 1997 to 2001, the company was honored as Loudi City's “Contract-honoring and Trustworthy” unit. In 2001, due to the official ban on the use of ceramic gas discharge tubes of national telecommunications sector, Xinxing fell to the brink of bankruptcy as its only product was ceramic gas discharge tube. However, this situation also forced the company to find another way to develop new products. Under the leadership of Chairman Cao Peifu, the company spent nearly two years localizing the production of thermostat ceramics together with world's top 500 companies Emerson and Hollyville and was the first to develop the overall hot-formed four-corner shell process which was more reasonable and advanced than Japan’s technology of making and bonding separately.

In order to broaden the application fields of the products, in 2002, the company developed various color ceramics and successfully applied them to the hair straightener ceramic splint, which was well received by customers. In addition, in order to expand market channels and open up international horizons, the company applied for and successfully obtained the import and export licenses. In the same year, the export earned 500 US dollars, achieving zero breakthrough in foreign trade sales. From then on, the company's footprint covers all parts of the world. With the expansion of scale, it is extremely urgent for the company to have a complete management system. Therefore, according to development needs, the company introduced ISO9000 quality management system. Since then, the company embarked on a path of standardization and procedural development. From 2002 to 2004, the company was repeatedly awarded the honorary title of “Hunan Famous Trademark” and “100 Quality Trustworthy Units of Private Enterprises in the Province”. In 2004, based on the potential needs of the customer market and the recognition of the shortcomings of the traditional hot die casting process, the company introduced ceramic dry press production processes, self-propelled materials and mold design.
